Today we discussed who was going to take the pictures, write down the message, and edit the video clip for Project Citizen. We took some pictures of trash ,people littering for the clip about "Trash?We don't want it!" Then the people doing "The Story of the Drop of Water "they were taking photos of water from the faucet, taking multiple pictures of water drops.We worked on the netbooks.

Our Problem
Today in project citizen we went through the civil society and decided that the problem we are going to be working on is water. One of the issues we are working on is waste water, and pollution along the Tuolumne River.Next we hope to figure out the laws for our problems.

Going Blue!!!
Today in Project Citizen we read about how water is used in two different countries and how people made a difference. We learned that to make 40 water bottles it takes 17 million barrels of oil.

Project Update
Today in Project Citizen, We learned about wasted water and potable water.How dangerous dirty water is if you drink it.We also learned that 20 jumbo jets full of people die each day from diarrhea caused by bad drinking water. Then we explored websites and learned about different water projects.Several of us researched ways to donate money to Haiti.Some farmers use water wisely and some don't.We also learned about our globe hydrolgy site.At clean water actoin.org we learned about electronic waste.

Water and Marine Mammals
We are studying about water. We are learning about our water shed, Tuolumne River. We are interested in the water quality, how the local community affects it, and what we can do to make it better. We watched a little bit of the video Poisoned Waters and learned about dead zones in oceans ecosystems, and how fisheries are declining.
We also talked about adopting a baby sea otter from the Marine mamal center His name is Calloway.
